I’m glad you asked! I’ve been a digital artist for the past decade and a photographer for over 30 years. I’ve worked with over 1,000 customers on their special portrait and operate a successful Etsy store with over 300 five star reviews. I offer Free Shipping on all orders (to Australia, Canada and the USA) plus a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. My goal is to make ordering custom artwork easy and fun.

How long will my portrait take to create?

Approximate turnaround time from ordering to receiving your canvas is about one month for a basic portrait of one person. More complex pieces and multi-subject paintings may take longer. Once we've discussed your needs, you'll receive a more accurate delivery estimate. Rush orders may be possible - please ask.

What if I don’t like my portrait?

My goal is to make sure you’re 100% happy with your new artwork. So before I start painting I’ll be in touch to discuss your vision. And don’t worry if you don’t have a specific idea - I have lots of experience and can make recommendations. Then, before anything is printed you’ll have the opportunity to review the artwork. At that point you’re welcome to provide feedback and I will work with you to make sure it’s just right. Your artwork will only be printed once you have given your approval.

Is this really hand-painted or just a filter or AI?

Yes - every portrait is carefully painted by hand using professional tools. I use a stylus and digital brushes to layer details just like traditional painting - no filters, shortcuts, or AI. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind artwork created with care.

Will it look like my family?

Absolutely. I work from your chosen photo and focus on capturing the subject's personality as well as their appearance - the little expressions, postures and quirks that make them who they are. You’ll also receive a digital copy of your artwork for approval before anything is printed.

What if my photo isn’t good enough?

I can work from most photos, even older ones. If you're unsure, just send through what you have—I’ll let you know if it’s workable and may offer some options to enhance it. The goal is always to create the most meaningful tribute possible.

What’s the difference between this and cheaper options?

Many low-cost options use automated filters or AI tools. This portrait is painted one brushstroke at a time, by hand, with personal attention to every detail. It’s custom artwork - created with empathy and care - not a mass-produced product.
